Yes, we have english willow cricket bats starting size 5, size 6 and harrow size. For adults, we have SH (short handle), LB (long blade – short handle), LH (long handle) and LBLH (long blade-long handle).
No, we only source english willow bats. English willow bats have a better punch, profile and weight balance than kashmir willow bats.
No, none of the bats are ready to play. You will have to oil and knock the bats before using it with season hard ball.
Yes, we provide oiling, knocking and toe-guard services at an additional cost. We give a complimentary batting grip and an anti-scuff sheet with your cricket bat.
BAT REPLACEMENT POLICY
If the handle breaks within one month of purchase, we will assist you in getting that fixed. Any request to replace the bat in such condition will not be entertained.
We recommend to bind the toe using a thread or apply special toe-guard before using it in matches or nets. Any request to replace the bat in such condition will not be entertained as this is deemed as a playing fault.
We recommend thorough knocking of the bat including rounding the edges and also applying an anti-scuff sheet before using the bat in nets or matches. Any request to replace the bat in such condition will not be entertained as this is deemed as a playing fault.
We understand that it should not have happened but such is the nature of wood. For such a condition, the bat replacement can be requested provided there are no damages to the handle, toe and edges. Having said that, the bat will have to be sent to India for the manufacturers to review. The customer will have to bear the shipping cost to sent the bat to India. The final decision will be documented on the manufacturer’s letter head who have the final say. The total turnaround time for such a scenario is somewhere between 2-4 months. We, at CricketWorld ChCh, will make our best efforts to get you a replacement but the ultimate decision is not ours. We hope you understand our situation the same way as we do.
SHIPPING & RETURN
Your order will be shipped within 1-2 working days. Most orders get delivered between 3-4 working days all across New Zealand upon dispatch.
Shipping cost is very subjective to the volumetric weight or actual weight, whichever is higher, and the destination. Once you finalize the order, we communicate the shipping cost with the customer. After a certain order value, the shipping is complimentary.
Items can be returned only if not used and is in the same condition as sent by us. We usually share a video before packing and dispatch and refer the same to compare. The shipping cost to return the items have to be borne by the customer. Refunds shall only be initiated upon receiving of the items after thorough inspection.
All cricket bats will only be replaced if there is a faulty willow and no playing fault. Further, since the bats are sourced from India, the bats will have to be sent to India for the respective manufacturer to review. The shipping cost to India will be at customer’s expense. However, there is no assurance that a bat gets replaced, you will be entitled to a documented explanation of the manufacturer’s letter head to ensure complete transparency.
PAYMENT
You can pay using cash, do a bank transfer or use your Debit or Credit card. If you’re using a Credit card for making the payment, the transaction charges have to be borne by the customer.
All order items including shipping, if applicable, have to be paid before you receive your goods. You can also pay in installments at your own flexible time period at your convenient amount. Your items will be separated out and reserved for you once we receive the first installment. The items will be handed over or dispatched to you after receiving the last installment.
There is no minimum payment amount needed to be pay if you opt of installments. Ideally, we would appreciate anything between 10-20% of the total amount as the booking amount. We are flexible even if it is any lower or higher than that.
No. There are no additional or hidden charges whatsoever. All you have to do is pay the final order amount at your own comfort.
